Beautiful antique sterling silver napkin ring by Gorham featuring a raised classical goddess bust from the renowned Medallion pattern. Introduced by Gorham in the 1860s, the Medallion line was inspired by ancient Greek and Roman coin designs and remains one of the most celebrated patterns in American silver.
This impressive napkin ring displays a finely detailed raised profile of a classical female figure, likely Athena or Minerva, surrounded by elegant hand-engraved Victorian ornamentation and geometric decoration.
