Rare 17th Century English Sterling Silver Trefid Spoon
An authentic antique English sterling silver trefid spoon dating to the late 17th century, approximately 1685–1700.
This charming miniature spoon features the classic trefid terminal, one of the earliest distinctly English flatware patterns. The split-end handle design is characteristic of the period and highly sought after by collectors of early silver.
The reverse bears early English hallmarks including a lion passant and crowned leopard's head, indicating sterling silver assayed in London. A maker's mark "I.B." is present, together with engraved period initials "C T."
