An antique sterling silver souvenir spoon by Watson & Co. of Attleboro, Massachusetts, bearing their early hallmark — the flag with an H — and stamped STERLING.
The handle depicts a detailed fish leaping from stylized Art Nouveau waves, one of Watson’s most striking figural designs. The bowl is engraved in elegant script “Langdon, Mo.”, representing the small Missouri river town. A scarce regional souvenir and an excellent example of turn-of-the-century American silver artistry.
