Beautiful vintage Reed & Barton Tara 2-piece small carving set, featuring sterling silver handles in the elegant Tara pattern.
This handsome set includes a carving knife and matching two-tine carving fork. The ornate sterling handles feature the graceful scrollwork and traditional styling associated with Reed & Barton’s classic Tara pattern, introduced in 1955.

Designed as a smaller steak carving set, this knife and fork are ideal for slicing and serving steaks, tenderloin, filet, chops and other smaller cuts of meat. Its more compact size makes it especially well suited for table-side carving and serving, rather than carving a large turkey or oversized roast. The two-tine fork securely holds the meat in place while the knife makes neat, controlled slices.

Very good vintage condition.
The sterling handles remain bright and attractive with light surface wear consistent with age and normal use. The stainless portions show some light scratches and polishing marks. The knife blade and fork tines present nicely, and there are no monograms.
