Elegant Reed & Barton Francis I sterling silver handled steak carving set, consisting of a carving knife and two-tine carving fork.

The famous Francis I pattern features richly sculpted Renaissance-style fruit, flowers, and scrollwork and is one of Reed & Barton’s most recognizable sterling patterns. Both pieces are clearly marked “STERLING HANDLE.”

This is a smaller steak carving set, rather than the large carving set traditionally used for turkey or large roasts. Its size makes it especially well suited for carving and serving steaks, tenderloin, pork loin, small roasts, or other individual and smaller cuts of meat at the table.

The sterling handles have been polished and display beautifully, with the deep relief and ornate detailing characteristic of Francis I. The knife blade and carving fork are bright and attractive.
