Simons Brothers Co. was founded in 1839 by George Washington Simons in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Originally a manufacturer of gold and silver thimbles and pencil cases, the company expanded its production to include a wide variety of gold and silver goods and, by 1858, employed over 60 individuals. Founder George Simons became known for his inventive use of machinery. Simons Brothers Co. has won many awards for their craftsmanship including a metal and Certificate of Award from the Centennial Commission at the International Exhibition in 1876 and a medal and award at the Columbian Exhibition in 1893. While they have discontinued the production of their flatware patterns, the company continues to produce exceptional sterling jewelry, accessories, emblematic pieces and thimbles today.

All merchandise is refundable within 30 days of shipping. Returns (due to no fault of As You Like It Silver Shop) on credit card orders of $500 and over are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Returns on cash or check orders of $500 or more are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
